Professional Experience
Throughout her career, she has personally created IP and products profiting multiple millions in sales annually. She has designed products that bring emotional connection and user needs to the brands she has helped develop. Those brands range from evergreen to brand new IP. She has gained insights into consumer wants/needs, and can turn those into innovated designs.
In addition to her design expertise, she has managed teams of designers and cross functional teams of engineers, marketers, quality control, packaging and licensors. Together those teams have brought dozens of items to market launch around the world.
She is confident in her abilities and is ready to expand into a new industry. She is bringing all her combined experience from many industries to those new potential teams. She is so excited to see what comes next.
Co-op Experience
During her time in UC’s ID program, she has been around the country. Her 5 co-ops consisted of POS displays at Packaging Corporations of America (PCA) in Ohio, Design Consultancy at ECCO Design Inc. in NYC, Toy Design at Mattel for Disney/Pixar Cars team in LA, DKNY fashion brand Watch Design at Fossil Inc. in Dallas and Toy Design at PlayMonster in Wisconsin. With a collective 2 years of industry experience, she has experience in many different industries. Since all these co-ops have given priceless experience and knowledge she is more confident now than ever. There is a whole world out there ready to be influenced by young designers. Jess and her fellow alumni are the era to a new revolution in the future of design.
